The iPad as a games machine

All the iPhone games are available for the iPad, but since there’s more screen real estate, the details may look fuzzy on the iPad.  That issue should be resolved as developers create games specifically for the iPad.  Games will always be popular with any multi-media device and the iPad is no exception.  This video reviews the following games which range from free to around $4.99:

  1. Plants vs Zombies HD
  2. Fieldrunners
  3. Real Racing HD
  4. Tap Tap Radiation

Overall the iPad is good for basic games, but not so ideal for action type games.  Besides being heavy and real reflective screen, it’s also kind of slick (especially when you play for extend period of time and get sweaty hands) and has no grip unless you get an good iPad case.  If you get tired, then you can always rest it on your knees.

The iPad is not a games game changer, but it’s still in it’s infancy, so expect great things to come as developers find creative ways to utilize the best features of the tablet!
