iPad 2 3G Available On Mainland China

The iPad 2 3G is finally arriving in China.  China’s certification agency gave the go ahead for it’s release.  Except
for Hong Kong, only the iPad 2 WiFi model has been available since the May debut on the mainland.  The 3G model will
be offered by China Unicom (one of China’s top telecom companies).  Given the popularity of the iPad around the rest of the world, it will be no surprise that the iPad 2 will be just as popular in China.  Let the next the tablet gold rush begin!

With Dell teaming up with Baidu, the tablet wars in China is just beginning.  With Apple speeding up it’s store openings, things are getting interesting.  At the end it will be the market leader (iPad 2) to loose.  Everyone else is just fighting for second place.
